The score-line was (0-4, 1-5, 0-4) with SA ending off with a 13-1 win. A great win and looking forward to their next game against tournament favourites, Mexico.
With Mexico also scoring a 12 goal victory over Ireland, this looked good for the SA team, but before green and gold could be waved Mexico were leading 2-1 at the end of the first period.
The next two periods were a 3-0 a piece and ended the game 8-1 in favour of the Mexican team.
SA's next game is on Friday and they will be playing against Iceland who won their last game 22-0 against Ireland.
